More About My School

In my recent post, I wrote that I started high school. Well, It's my third day of school, and I think I'm doing pretty good. There are some things that I didn't mention earlier, so I'll describe them now. I have a special class (everyone does) called POD'S. It is a class of about 15 to 20 kids and you talk about what you want to be when you grow up. Career choices and stuff like that. You also talk about your senior culminating project. The teacher you have when your a freshman is the same teacher you have for all four years. Here's some more stuff you didn't know. I have four different schedules.

The first one is called a Plaid Day. They are on Mondays and you have all six classes. The second one is called a Green Day. On those days, you only have periods 1, 3, and 5. You have those Green Days on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The third one is called a Gold Day. And you have periods 2, 4, and 6. Those days are Wednesdays and Fridays. The last schedule is called a Plaid/POD Day. You have all your classes PLUS your POD class. And you have your POD class between your 2nd and 3rd periods.

There is something called Student Access Time where you can come in early and get help on stuff or you can just kill some time in the library. But, I'll use it for help. You can go in from 7:35am to 8:15am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Also, I have different school starting times. Every Monday is 8:30am and Tuesday through Friday is 8:20am. That's a lot of info to remember isn't it?! Well, try being me and having to go through all these different times!
