So Sorry!

I'm sorry everyone! I promised myself that I would write everyday in my journal for this blog of mine. I did write everyday, but I've been forgetting to actually put it on here. I haven't really been that busy, but somehow the time slips just slips away. But you don't have to wait any longer because I will be putting it on tomorrow!

Happy Birthday Mother Dear

It's my mom's birthday today. But, I never said anything to her this morning. I was such a jerk. I remembered at school. Of course, it's a time when I don't see her. I made a mental note to remind myself to tell her after school. Yet again, my mental notes have failed me. I had yearbook signing, and I was so excited and caught up in other stuff, that I forgot. So, Happy Birthday MOMMY! I LOVE U! And I'm SO SORRY!

What Life should be, but Isn't

This is a story I wrote on Sunday night. These are just my opinions, so don't feel offended.

Life should be full of happiness, love, good food, jewelry, good surprises, family.
Life should be full of triumph, good fortune, luck, friends, treasures, peace.
Life should be full of laughter, dreams, natural beauty, brilliance, fun, no worries.
Life should be full of health care for everyone, soul mates, fantasy, solitude, focus points, necessary alone time, warmth.
Life should be full of vital moments, family history, important times together, strength, influential people.

But, that’s not what life is.

Life is full of war, divorce, hard times, recessions, bailouts, plans that won’t work.
Life is full of fear, drugs, alcohol, murders, suicides, homicides.
Life is full of lies, deceit, horror, trust issues, hunger, and homeless people.
Life is full of pollution, torture, terrorism, violent memories, no money.
Life is full of litter, cartels, gangs, fatal accidents, kidnappings, wounds that can’t heal.

But, that’s not my life. My life isn’t going to be like that. I want my life to be full of good things. I will do anything. And if I have to fight like hell, with my heart, to do that, then I will.

Guest Author Day

This piece of writing was written by a dear friend of mine and I really enjoyed it. She gave this piece of writing to every one of her girlfriends. You know, friends that are girls. She didn't title it so I don't know what to call it. Oh yeah, she doesn't know I'm putting this on here. So here goes!

Girls are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. The boys don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples that aren't as good, but easy. So the apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right boy to come along, the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.

Well, what do you think? Let me know.
