Walla Walla, Washington

Good evening everyone! I realize that I haven't posted since January, and I feel absolutely terrible. So I'm going to try to get back into posting. Just a few weeks ago my parents and I took a trip to Walla Walla, Washington State's prime wine country. WW is to us what Napa Valley is to California. There are wineries and everywhere! While we didn't do any of that, we did do our fair share of sight seeing and restaurant sampling. Below is a short description of each day and some accompanying photos! They will be in order of how I described each day. We even took another big batch of rocks, like we did for Wenatchee last October.

Day 1: Arrived at our hotel where we took a little walk around their garden and flower area; it was so cute! We stayed here but be aware that the website is basic. The rooms however are so cute and simple, but in a good way. There is no continental breakfast, so bring your own food or pick a breakfast restaurant.

Day 2: Went to Pioneer ParkBennington Lake, and saw some goats! The goats are hired out to clear away levees and such so that the engineering corps people can survey damage. We also had froyo for dessert, as it was my mom's birthday!

Day 3: Went to the Fort Walla Walla Museum and so much fun looking at all the artifacts! They have a main building that holds a few things, but most of their stuff is split into 5 big-ish warehouses with a different theme for each one. There is also an outdoor village that depicts what life was like "back in the day".

Day 4: Went to Rooks Park and enjoyed a slight breeze and some good views before driving home.
